About the camp

Make your summer unforgettable with INDIGO!

Every summer, teenagers from all over the world come to Prague to experience something more than just a summer camp.
They explore one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, travel to new places, try new sports and activities, make friends from around the world, and create memories that stay with them long after summer is over.
At INDIGO Brilliant, our goal is simple: to create a safe, active, and inspiring environment where teenagers can be themselves, try something new, become more confident, and discover what they are capable of.
But INDIGO is not just about activities.
It’s about people.
It’s the counselors who make you laugh, the new friends you never expected to meet, the late-night conversations, the inside jokes, and those little moments that somehow become your favourite memories.
Children quickly feel at home at INDIGO — surrounded by friendly counselors, caring staff, an international community, and the unique atmosphere of summer in Prague.
Come for Prague. Stay for the people. Leave with memories for life.
Why to choose INDIGO

Why your best Summer Memories will start in Prague?

1. Because it’s more than just “going to the camp.”
For two weeks, your teenager gets to live in a new city, surrounded by young people from different countries. Every day brings something new: exploring the city, challenges, trips, new places, activities, and evening events.
2. New friends who stay in touch long after camp.
Teens come to INDIGO from all over the world. And often, the most valuable part of the experience isn’t an excursion or a disco - it’s the people they meet and the friendships that continue long after the summer is over.
3. More independence.
Choosing how to spend free time, introducing yourself to someone new, solving a small everyday problem, or simply making it to a meeting point on time - these little things gradually build a feeling of: “I can do this on my own.”
4. Real language practice.
INDIGO officially operates in two languages: English and Russian - although, in reality, you’ll hear many more languages around camp! Teens who come to practise a language get plenty of opportunities to use it naturally every day: during lessons, activities, games, conversations with friends, and even songs.
5. Prague itself is a huge part of the adventure.
This isn’t a camp somewhere far outside the city. Teens actually live in Prague and get to explore it: historic streets, Vyšehrad, the Clementinum, the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, parks, hidden corners, and unusual places you won’t find in a typical tourist itinerary.
6. There’s a real sense of freedom.
At INDIGO, we don’t believe in the idea of “we’re the adults, you’re the kids, so you just do what you’re told.” There are clear safety rules, of course, but within those boundaries, teenagers have space to make choices, socialise, take initiative, and simply be themselves.
7. Because two weeks outside the usual routine can be incredibly valuable.
No school, no familiar schedule, no usual group of friends, and no parents constantly checking in. Sometimes it’s exactly this change of environment that helps a teenager open up, try something new, and discover a side of themselves they didn’t know was there.
8. And, of course, because it’s going to be fun.
Rafting, trips, mysteries, city adventures, evening programmes, discos, new places, endless conversations — and that perfect, carefully supervised little bit of chaos that teenagers often enjoy much more than a perfectly organised schedule.
Highlights of the camp

In 2 weeks you can expect:

1. Dresden & Bastei National Park. We’ll head to Dresden, the capital of Saxony, and explore the spectacular Bastei rock formation and nature reserve. The trip is made by a comfortable, air-conditioned bus.
2. Vienna. We’ll also travel to Vienna, the former capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and spend the day exploring this beautiful historic city. The trip is made by a comfortable, air-conditioned bus.
3. Body Zorbing. Have you ever played football while trapped inside a giant inflatable ball? At INDIGO, you’ll get the chance to try exactly that! Get ready to bounce, roll, laugh — and score a few goals along the way.
4. Paintball. A little friendly battle with your camp friends is a great way to get everyone laughing, working together, and making new memories.
5. Island Sports Day. A full day of fun by the water! We’ll take part in team challenges, try SUP boarding, play beach volleyball, and finish the day by watching the sunset around a campfire with a beautiful view of Vyšehrad.
6. Fun-Filled Discos. Does your teenager usually avoid dancing and sit on the sidelines? Not at INDIGO Brilliant! When the music starts, everyone gets involved. Our discos are all about having fun, letting go, and dancing together.
7. Excursions, Museums & City Quests. Our programme is carefully balanced and designed with teenagers in mind. Even if your teen isn’t a big fan of museums or history, they’ll still want to come along with their friends - and before they know it, they’ll be having fun, exploring Prague, and picking up fascinating facts about the history of Czechia and Central Europe along the way.
  • Prague city and Ghost tour
We will get to know Prague from two different angles. On the Day light tour we will learn about its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. The Night ghost tour will start in an authentic alchemy bar, then the monk will guide us through the dark side of the city.
  • Barbeque parties
Under good weather we love to spend our time in the park. Do you? Nearby our residence we have a very nice park where we will be hidden by trees and hills. What to expect there: BBQ, marshmallow, outdoor games (twister, ping pong, guess who I am, among other fun outdoor activities).
  • Bodyzorbing
A fun team game in giant inflatable suits! Players compete, bump into each other, and try to stay on their feet. Lots of movement, laughter, and plenty of sporting excitement!
  • Bounding games
At our summer camp, fun and bonding games bring everyone together! Team challenges, exciting activities, and lots of laughs make new friendships unforgettable.
  • Museums in Prague and Prague ZOO
City camp is not a camp without visiting museums! We will select interactive museums which our campers would love to join (National Museum, Museum of Music).
  • Sport activities
Beach volleyball, paddleboard, table football, kayaking are the minimum activities to expect in our Summer Camp. Along your stay you will not only learn about Eastern Europe cultures, but you will do a lot of sports while doing so.

Spend a day on Prague’s island with friends, games, and outdoor adventures. Fun, laughter, and memories guaranteed!

During these 2 weeks, you and your team, will produce your own movie about the camp and Prague. The winning team will get a reward.

Accommodation

Accommodation & Location

For our campers we prepare accommodation at VŠE University Residence, Jeseniova 212, Prague 3, located in Žižkov, one of Prague’s well-known historic neighbourhoods.
The residence is approximately 15 minutes by tram from Wenceslas Square, making it easy for our campers to reach the city centre and the main locations included in our programme.
The residence complex has two parks, providing plenty of space for outdoor activities, relaxing, and BBQ evenings. An indoor and outdoor swimming pool is located about a 10-minute walk away, and INDIGO reserves dedicated time at the indoor pool for our participants.
There are also three large supermarkets within walking distance, making everyday essentials easily accessible.
Participants stay in shared apartment-style units. Each unit consists of 2–3 bedrooms, a small kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower. Each bedroom accommodates two participants.
Please note that the residence is not an exclusively INDIGO facility. During the summer, other students and guests will also be staying on the campus.
Getting around Prague
Transportation during the camp
For all activities around Prague, participants travel by public transport together with the camp team. This is not only a convenient way to get around the city, but also a great opportunity for teenagers to become familiar with Prague and gradually learn how to navigate a big city more independently.
For an additional layer of safety, participants use geotags linked to a counselor’s phone. This means that if someone accidentally misses a stop or gets separated from the group, our team can quickly locate them and make sure they are reunited with the group.
Each group also has its own Telegram chat, where participants can contact their counselors if they are running late, need help, or have any questions during the day.
For our trips to Vienna and Dresden, we use a comfortable air-conditioned bus. The bus picks the group up directly at the campus and brings everyone back to the campus at the end of the trip.
Food
Meals & Dining
We provide three freshly prepared meals a day, plus fruit snacks, so our campers have plenty of energy for a busy programme.
Breakfast is served as a buffet, with a variety of options to choose from.
For lunch, campers can choose from several main dishes and side dishes in the camp dining hall. Soup is self-served, so everyone can take as much as they like. A counselor is always present in the dining hall and happy to help with the choice of meals.
We use very little pork in our menu, although some individual dishes may contain it. Please check with our counselor if you are unsure - they will be happy to help.
Drinking water is available with every meal. Tea and a sweet drink are also available at breakfast and lunch.
Dinner may be served at the camp or outside the camp, depending on the programme. From time to time, we take the group to local restaurants to give teenagers the opportunity to discover new flavours and cuisines.
Our menu is designed with teenagers in mind and includes traditional Czech and European dishes. Chicken and potato dishes are popular choices. During trips and city evenings, campers may also get the chance to try Indian and Uzbek cuisine.
Special Dietary Requirements:
If your child has any allergies or special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance. We have experience accommodating gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, and kosher diets, and we will do our best to meet the necessary requirements.
Please note: vegan meals are not available at our camp.
What do our campers love most?
  • A wide choice at the breakfast buffet
  • The opportunity to try different cuisines
  • Dinner at restaurants in different parts of Prague

Household Questions
Useful Information
Laundry
There are washing machines available on campus that participants can use during their stay.
We recommend bringing a laundry bag where your child can keep clothes that need washing. Laundry detergent is provided by the camp.
  • Cost: €10 per wash
  • Temperature: 40°C
  • Cycle: quick wash
We do not normally include the following items in regular laundry:
  • Heavy hoodies
  • Jeans
  • Shoes
  • Jackets and outerwear
Exception: If a pair of jeans or a hoodie is the child’s only one, it can be sent for washing.
Please note that the camp cannot be held responsible for possible damage, shrinking, or colour transfer during washing. We therefore recommend not bringing clothes that require special care.
Room Cleaning & Bed Linen
Bed linen is changed once during each camp session.
And this is another small part of becoming more independent: participants remove their used bed linen themselves, fold it, take it to the designated place, and collect a clean set.
Campers are responsible for keeping their rooms tidy with the support and supervision of counselors. The camp provides a full wet cleaning of the rooms once during the session.
At other times, everyday tidying — putting away personal belongings, taking out rubbish, and keeping the room reasonably tidy - is part of the child’s responsibility. Waste bins are available around the campus.
Bathroom utilities
Toilet paper, rubbish bags, soap, and shower gel are available from the counselors.
If your child runs out of something, they simply need to ask a counselor for it.
Please note that toilet paper is not automatically restocked in every room by the campus, so participants should let a counselor know whenever they need more supplies.
Internet & Mobile Connection
We recommend arranging an eSIM before arrival if your regular SIM card’s roaming charges are expensive.Participants do not need constant access to a mobile network, but internet access will be useful during the camp for communication and staying in touch with the group.
